Η 75η Μόστρα της Βενετίας σηκώνει αυλαία

Μεγάλα ονόματα της 7ης τέχνης, κόκκινο χαλί, εκατοντάδες σταρ του κινηματογράφου και έντονη παρουσία της Amazon και του Netflix. Η 75η Μόστρα σηκώνει την αυλαία.

Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος επιστρέφει στη Βενετία για να διεκδικήσει τον Χρυσό Λέοντα με την νέα του ταινία  The Favourite με τις Ολίβια Κόλμαν, Έμμα Στόουν και Ρέιτσελ Βάις.

Την παραμονή της επίσης έναρξης της Μπιενάλε θα προβληθεί η ταινία τρόμου Golem: Πώς ήρθε στον κόσμο με σκηνικό την Πράγα του 16ου αιώνα.

Πρόεδρος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής του Διαγωνιστικού Τμήματος ορίστηκε ο περυσινός νικητής του θεσμού, ο σκηνοθέτης Γκιγιέρμο Ντελ Τόρο ενώ πλαισιώνεται- μεταξύ άλλων- από τους ηθοποιούς Ναόμι Γουτς-Κριστόφ Βαλτς.

Η 75η Μπιενάλε της Βενετίας θα τιμήσει τον πρωτοπόρο σκηνοθέτη του new wave cinema των eighties, Ντέιβιντ Κρόνενμπεργκ, τον κορυφαίο Κινέζο σκηνοθέτη Ζαν Γιμού και την ηθοποιός Βανέσα Ρεντγκρέιβ.

Το Φεστιβάλ ανοίγει με την ταινία “First Man” που στηρίζεται στο ομώνυμο βιβλίο του Τζέιμς Χάνσεν, για τον αστροναύτη Νηλ Άρμστρονγκ. Σκηνοθέτης είναι ο 33χρονος Ντάμιεν Σαζέλ, τον οποίο γνωρίσαμε αγαπήσαμε μέσα από το ρομαντικό μιούζικαλ “ La la Land”. Τον κορυφαίο ρόλο, θα τον επωμιστεί ο Ράιαν Γκόσλινγκ.

21 ταινίες διεκδικούν τον χρυσό λέοντα στο Φεστιβάλ που θα διαρκέσει έως τις 8 Σεπτεμβρίου.
